Behind The Test

I haven’t even held my baby yet, and I’m already counting the cost of diapers, formula, doctor visits, childcare, clothes, a crib, a car seat… wondering what happens when the bills come faster than the paycheck.

And I keep thinking about all the women who have sat exactly where I am, staring at a positive test with tears in their eyes—not because they aren’t grateful, but because they’re terrified they won’t be enough financially.

I haven’t even held my baby yet, and I’m already wondering how I’m going to afford to give my baby everything they deserve.

I might not know how I’m going to afford everything yet. I might be scared, and I might not have all the answers. But I’m going to believe there is a way.

Because my baby deserves a mother who knows that asking for help isn’t weakness, and no woman should ever have to feel like she has to figure it all out alone.

I am pregnant…

My heart is full. I’m already dreaming about the little person growing inside me.

And maybe right beside that joy is a fear I can’t shake—but also a hope that somehow, we’ll find a way.

If you're scared, struggling, or simply wondering how you're going to do this please know you don't have to do this alone. There is help, there is support, and there is hope.
